What This Workflow Does

This workflow helps SEO professionals and website owners identify and resolve keyword cannibalization—when multiple pages on your site compete for the same search queries, diluting ranking potential and confusing search engines. It connects to Google Search Console to extract query and page performance data over a specified period (default: last 90 days), analyzes which queries have multiple competing URLs, enriches each URL with metadata like title and H1 tags, and uses semantic analysis to recommend a single "winner" page per query along with specific consolidation actions.

How It Works

The workflow operates in five stages: (1) extracts GSC Search Analytics data grouped by query and page, scoring candidates by cannibalization severity; (2) enriches competing URLs with on-page metadata (title, H1); (3) runs semantic analysis to select the best-performing or most relevant page as the winner for each query; (4) generates consolidation recommendations (301 redirects, canonical tags, content merges, or de-optimization); and (5) produces a beautiful Tailwind CSS-based HTML report showing the top 20 affected queries (customizable), competing URLs, winner selection rationale, and action steps. The report is automatically uploaded and saved for easy sharing and review.
